People of Edinburgh! Three weeks tonight I am launching my brand new novel Fault Lines, published by Orenda Books, at Waterstones West End, Edinburgh, 6.30pm. I’ll be chatting to Chris Brookmyre, and I might play a tune or two if you’re unlucky. Come! You can book free tickets here.

So it appears that the ebook of Fault Lines is involved in some kind of MAY MADNESS promotion on Amazon. I can confirm that 1) it is now May and 2) this price is madness. So on you go, go on.

Fault Lines embarks on an EPIC blog tour today, with two reviews every day for a month. I will not be sharing them all here, I think we would all go a little insane, so here’s a list of who’s on when and where, do please dip in and check out if you feel so inclined. And big thanks to Orenda Books for sorting this!
Oh man, I am sooo excited to be heading to Shetland for the first time next week. I’m doing creative writing workshops in some schools, and an event at Lerwick Library on Tuesday evening. I presume Shetland will be *just* like off the telly, aye?

They exist! And they are beeyootiful!

So I’m going to be at London Book Fair tomorrow, somewhere in amongst the above melee. I’m doing a Creative Scotland event on Tartan Noir with agent Jenny Brown, Denise Mina and Sara Hunt from Saraband. 4pm in The Club Room, National Hall, come find us if you’re about!

Here are my latest book reviews in The Big Issue magazine. I reviewed Blue Night (Orenda) by Simone Buchholz and The Hoarder (Canongate) by Jess Kidd. Two crackers, very different but both full of dry humour.

Hello peeps! Last chance to pick up FAULT LINES cheap on Kindle and Kobo before it goes back to some non-ridiculous price. Universal 5-star reviews so far. Just saying…

Here’s the final final cover for Fault Lines, with amazing quotes from Mark Billingham, Megan Abbott and Steve Cavanagh on it. Blown away. It’s off to the printers today, out 22nd May!
