NEW SCOTLAND, NEW TROUBLE

NEW SCOTLAND, NEW TROUBLE – I think that’s what Edinburgh Book Festival have called my event there this year. Anyhoo, it’s me and Malcolm Mackay talking about our speculative crime fiction novels set in alternate Scotlands. Just finished Malcolm’s book, the excellently titled IN THE CAGE WHERE YOUR SAVIOURS HIDE, and it’s terrific. Much to blether about. It’s this Saturday, 7pm in Charlotte Square – do come!

Panic in the Streets of Edinburgh

PEOPLE OF EDINBURGH! The Edinburgh International Book Festival launched last week and I forgot to tell y’all I’m appearing on Sat 18th August at 7pm. I’m on with the super-talented Malcolm Mackay, who has also written a piece of speculative crime fiction set in an alternate Scotland – what are the odds? Come! It will be speculative as hell!

Panic in the Streets of London

PEOPLE OF LONDON! Please come and see me and Louise Voss launching our books in your great city. It will be all kinds of fun. Well, it will be at least two kinds of fun, book fun and alcohol fun, which are two of the best, imho.

Bloody Scotland

bdsct.jpg

I’ve been stupidly busy the last few days so haven’t had a chance to punt Bloody Scotland, which launched on Monday. A brilliant line up as ever, and I’m doing a few bits and bobs here and there as per. Playing drums, guitar, football and talking about books. Check it out!
