Oh man, I am sooo excited to be heading to Shetland for the first time next week. I’m doing creative writing workshops in some schools, and an event at Lerwick Library on Tuesday evening. I presume Shetland will be *just* like off the telly, aye?

They exist! And they are beeyootiful!

So I’m going to be at London Book Fair tomorrow, somewhere in amongst the above melee. I’m doing a Creative Scotland event on Tartan Noir with agent Jenny Brown, Denise Mina and Sara Hunt from Saraband. 4pm in The Club Room, National Hall, come find us if you’re about!

I was on BBC Radio Scotland’s Afternoon Show with Janice Forsyth today, one of the panel doing the Tuesday review, where we blethered about an Agatha Christie adaptation, a Jenny Saville exhibition and RuPaul’s Drag Race. Like you do. Listen from about an hour in.
