HELLO AMERICAN & CANADIAN FRIENDS. My latest book, THE BIG CHILL, is out in your countries today. It’s basically Six Feet Under meets The Rockford Files. Kind of. Grab it at your local indie shop or here: USA & CA.

Over on her blog, the wonderful Mary Picken has the cover for my next book THE GREAT SILENCE, published by Orenda. She also has all the details about the book on there. It’s the third Skelfs novel, out in June in ebook and August in paperback. And the cover is totally gorgeous, look:

Two of my books are Kindle Monthly Deals for February. First, A Dark Matter is on offer in the US and Canada, while Breakers is only 99p in the UK.

Delighted at the news that Publishers Weekly in the US has given The Big Chill a starred review ahead of publication in March.

Holy crap, I appear to have a massive, glowing review in Der Spiegel. Der Bruch (Breakers) is ‘The Trainspotting of 2021’, no less. Thanks to my German publisher Polar Verlag!

The Scottish Book Trust gives an early shout out to The Great Silence, out in August, as one of their Scottish Novels to Look Forward to in 2021. It’s a fantastic list of books, check them all out here.

Got my payment from the Public Lending Rights today – HUGE thanks to the thousands of people who have borrowed my books from libraries, so great to know my stories are out there still finding readers. Cheers!
Lovely German edition of Breakers out next week from Polar Verlag.

Goddamn it, another sale. A DARK MATTER is 99p on Kobo in both the UK and ANZ.
Do it.
